Theater Street Apartments

The only reason I’m still leaving this review is because management has not changed—they’ve only rebranded. Don’t be fooled by the “renovated” units and new name. Axis Lafayette=Theater Street Apartments. Water damage, flooding, mold, awful maintenance, forever changing management, towing resident’s cars, forced moving to 3 different units, pests, people getting jumped outside your window—that’s what you have to look forward to when you move to “Theater Street Apartments”! This complex has now undergone a rebrand, but fear not, it is the same old place. While rent pricing is exorbitant for even the basic units, there’s not much to look forward to when you live here. Theater street has been such a wonderful place to live! I’ve lived here for about 2 years and all of the employees are very helpful. The pool area is amazing, love sitting in the pool area! Madison and Seth are great! They help me with a lot and keep up to date with all the exciting events!

Great place for college students, good amenities, great location, and super friendly staff. Annabella was super informative and helped me get my renewal all setup. Guest parking can be a little tight at times, but overall a really good place at a very fair rate.

As my first time living away from home, Theater Street has been awesome. Incredibly happy with my decision to live here. My one and only complaint is the amount of visitor parking. I frequently have visitors (long distant family) and if there weren’t any parking, they would have to leave. And if not add more, at least allow visitors to park in a regular spot during the daytime without getting towed. But other than that, everything else is great. We have become good friends with the staff, (Peyton and Caleb) who are patient, helpful, welcoming, and all in all great employees. The maintenance staff is also very great workers and so sweet.

Absolutely in love with Theater Street. Very clean and well managed, the staff are super welcoming and personal. The maintenance staff is incredible. If you’re interested in a tour ask for Peyton or Caleb (great people)! All around 10/10!
