The Wren

Had to walk through halls and one of the apartments, 650, pretty sure the girl who lives there, is disgusting, literally had to go past there and she was just nasty. So having to walk past everyone's apartment is not fun because you have to see whatever trifling life they have going on there. The lobby is clean though, elevators are far too.

I have been contemplating moving apartments within Shaw, D.C. forever...and finally committed to starting tours all over the neighborhood. I instantly felt at home at The Wren. I didn't even have an appointment that day, I just wandered in...and Kevin in the Leasing Office took the time during his busy day to give me a full building tour. He answered all of my questions (I ask a lot of questions) with patience, kindness, and honesty -- he was helpful in calculating for me what all of the Finances would be, and he knew exactly which units I would and wouldn't like based on my description of what I was looking for in a home. Juan and Jose came by to help fix an issue with an ongoing dishwasher leak. They were very helpful, explained what the issue was, quick to replace all the parts and put the dishwasher back together good as new. They did a fantastic job!

Amazing experience speaking and touring with Kelvin. I couldn’t have asked for a better and more thoughtful tour guide and leasing agent, he’s kind, efficient and genuinely cares and wants to do anything to get you the best space. Can’t wait to call this place my home!

Update*****: this is a very dangerous apartment building. In the years that I’ve lived there I’ve known of two women who were assaulted: one on the elevator by a guest, and one by a “guest” who held her a gunpoint. Management has never truly addressed security security issues, even last month the parking garage that is $350/month was robbed. I would urge anyone considering this property to ask the local police precinct for reporting of crimes for this address. their units have issues with flooding. A unit on my floor flooded and they ramped up the “sewage” on my utilities bill in order to repair the damage, saying it’s billed by the usage of the floor. they will ruin your credit score living here— their billing department is terrible. Kevin in the leasing department is also extremely rude
