The Westcott at Canton Apartments (55+)

I have been a resident of Westcott for about six months now and have truly enjoyed calling this apartment—and this community—my home. The staff have been exceptional. Their friendliness is remarkable, and they excel in all the little details that make daily life comfortable. They are always prompt to address and resolve any issue, and the facilities are consistently immaculate. Recently, I woke up to discover that my refrigerator had stopped working during the night. A simple call to William at the front desk put me at ease immediately. He explained that it was likely just the circuit breaker, which occasionally trips due to nearby construction. Although my (Debbie) dad passed away the day we moved into The Westcott, the staff (Angela and Anne Marie) have been nothing short of amazingly supportive! From the application process and signing the lease process, all the way through the actual move-in, Angela and Anne Marie have been right there to answer any questions we had and helped this transition go much more smoothly than we could’ve ever imagined. Angela has been more like a sister to me, which means more to me (Debbie) than she will ever know! Angela even brought up to our unit a lovely fresh cut flower arrangement in support of my dad’s passing. My husband and I have lived at the Westcott for almost three years and have enjoyed every day. It is a fun place with activities of all sorts, the staff is friendly and professional. We feel so “at home” here and are blessed with great neighbors. Mary Ann Springthorpe

Having been away from Canton for 30 years and reaching the age of 85, my children thought I should move nearer to them. Moved October 1, 2025 to Westcott 55+, thanks to them. Ann Marie, William, Sara Jean, Valerie have been fantastic in introducing me to the wonderful residents and hosting lots of social activities. Kim and Chris (owners), my family is right. Love it!
