The Views of Mount Airy

I was a resident for 5 years. Wasn't that bad at first, but after switching property managers multiple times, things started going downhill quickly. From the steep increases in rent (My rent started around $950 and was about $1,200 when I left) to the increasingly loud neighbors, I beg anyone browsing here to look elsewhere. I unit across the hall from me caught fire. THREE years later and I still have smoke damaged walls, carpet, AC, fan and no window screens after complaining multiple times. There is a group that sits at the end of the playground blasting music from like midnight to 8 or 9AM. Police say it's private property, property management is slow to respond. Now that I'm finally out, I receive my deposit check. When I take it to the bank to deposit it, I'm told the check is bad. N

I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews for this place and in spite of the negative reviews. I was trying to just give this place a chance, but after dealing with the office staff, I see why the negative reviews was What they were everyone in the office is very rude. They don’t know how to talk to people professionally and does not like people who ask questions regarding their own information. On top of the Apartments looking ran down and unwelcoming the staff is very unwelcoming as well I would NOT recommend anyone to move there.

This place is horrible. I have less than a month in my lease and I'm definitely not renewing. There are parties in the parking lot from Thursday to Sunday all hours of the night into the morning, loud music, loud people, firecrackers. Contacted the office about it and nothing was ever done. There is always sketchy activity going on in the parking lot. Police are always over here. Was out of town recently for over a week, come back and find that someone had been in my apartment, left lights on and the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms that I always keep closed were left open. There was no notice on the door that they were going to be entering and I never received any email or phone calls that they needed to enter. Avoid renting here. Absolutely disgusting place. Absolutely disgusting place. Moved in first day there were mice and roach shit every where behind the fridge I had some one sealed majority of the holes myself and I told property manager and they were o okay good it’s fixed.. See lots of roaches as well. Definitely infested. Called the office for pest control and they spray one area and leave out down 2 little boxes to catch them like that going to go anything. Manger loves to use the retaliation tactic. You can hear animals in the wall (mice) I’ve seen 6 mice killing 2 or 3 with proof. Proof I had some try and seal the wholes for me. Roaches come from literally everywhere to where it’s affected my kids health especially my daughter who is asmatic. Health department has been on speed dial. It’s now been 8 mon

I lived here for 3 years and it was terrible. There were red flags from the start but I needed a place to live so I ignored them. Luckily I am out of there and never been happier. They do not give adequate notice for things. They inconvenienced us in every way they could. The parking lot is ALWAYS filthy. Dogs should not be allowed in these apartments because their owners do not know how to clean up after them. They try to clean it but it’ll never stay clean. The actual unit itself isn’t so bad as long as you don’t have neighbors across the hall yelling at all times. Maintenance was decent when we were there, usually a problem would be fixed almost immediately. Kathy is nice. She was always helpful. Stacey is rude and that’s a shame because I believe she may be the manager there now. T
