The Views at Laurel Lakes Apartment Homes

We moved in on October 1st and have now been here for 23 days. Upon move-in, there were multiple MINOR maintenance issues but i would say that they were rectified in a timely manner. It was a major INCONVENIENCE because it was over a span of multiple days, entering the unit. MAJOR ISSUES: -we decided to use the FIREPLACE and it started SMOKING. The damper was open, however, as you can see from the photos, the damper opening is FILTHY and thick with gunk, which may be the reason that smoke was backing up into the apartment. I’m an ASTHMATIC so this caused a major issue for me. I’m still waiting for this to be rectified. Until then, we are UNABLE to use the fireplace. -When the smoke was coming out of the fireplace and our HEPA filters were firing off like crazy and the apartment was hazy, N

Very disappointing experience. We had a tour scheduled for 1:45 PM and arrived only 3 minutes late (I called to let them know I would be 10min late max and they said it was fine, apparently they have an AI service that provides false information/responses), but the leasing agent refused to show us the unit even though we were already inside the leasing office. She explained that the tour was only 20 minutes starting at 1:45, which apparently had to include completing the ID verification link, walking to the units (which takes about 7–10 minutes), and then only a few minutes to actually see the apartment and ask questions. I’ve really enjoyed living at The Views at Laurel Lakes. The views are beautiful, and it’s a peaceful place to stay. The maintenance and office staff do a great job and are always helpful.

Moved here on June, when I did my application and toured the property I was never told the parking situation is SO difficult, it's only me in the lease reason why I get only ONE parking pass, my sisters and friend came to visit and both cars got towed, the office NEVER explained I have to get a temporary pass every time that's only valid for three days, and then said that if the office is closed and I can't get it the temporary permit I have to go find parking somewhere in the street which is INSANE paying so much for rent and I can't even have people visit me because their cars will get towed even is parked only for a few hours. You have to at least have designated visitors parking because it's ridiculous. Now I come look at the reviews and see that cars are being broken into??!!!??

I just moved out of this apartment complex after living here for 3 years and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it whatsoever. The staff is so kind and the maintenance workers respond diligently to every request. It is a very quiet neighborhood and the neighbors are respectful & pleasant. The move in / move out process was simple and they communicate quickly and effectively. 10/10 recommend!
