Laurel Lakes Senior Apartments

I wanted to move from my recent apartment complex in Columbia not because I was unhappy or cheaper rent because the cost is the same but because this place is 10 minutes away from my place of employment and close to stores which is great when snow or ice hits the area. Upon viewing just the lobby I have to go along with one of the reviewer's assessment regarding the appearance on the inside. Place seems really dated and the carpet in the lobby area did not appear clean. Also there is a huge difference in regards to square feet, and paying the same in rent but getting less for my money just did not make sense. I will say there seems to be plenty of parking, the outside is clean and the young lady I met for a tour of the building seemed really nice.

Wow I was totally convinced by Danielle I was sold from the moment she smiled and made me feel like family. The place is nice and well kept in lots of room for the price. This is a place I can truly feel I can call home, thank you Danielle!!!

I was somewhat hesitant about coming to stay at Laurel Lakes apartment, but Liz and Shavon really ease my fears with their professionalism,  both were kind, and really made me feel at home. The neighbors are really nice and welcome me with open arms. The grounds with its walking paths and pond behind the building is a sight to see.  I'm glad I made up my mind to come to Laurel Lakes. Thanks everyone!

Sixteen years as my own home -- the first I've ever had. And I love it. Gardens, library, piano, pool table, ping pong, board games, beauty/barber shop, walking path, community room/kitchen, grills, picnic tables, meeting rooms, card/bingo games, Bible study & religious services, parking areas, pets -- my brain is exhausted being thinking of all the choices! Laurel Lakes Senior Apartments as a whole has been such a blessing for my family and I! My grandmother moved to Laurel Lakes in 2008. She was extremely picky regarding her new living arrangements, specifically because she felt this would be her last home and she wanted it to feel like HOME! We searched and searched until one day I called and spoke to Liz. I felt a sense comfort in her voice. Her knowledge regarding leasing the apartment was exceptional! She explained everything not only to me, but to my grandma as well. We both agreed this was it! Boy, were we right! Over the years Liz has been amazing! She is caring, respectful, and does any and everything possible to be of an assistance to ANYONE she comes in contact with. I must admit, the entire team at Laurel Lakes is GREAT! Shavon i
