Worst mistake I have ever made. The imagines online does not match the property at all. Definitely do yourself and favor and take a tour of your actual room. I came in to a dirty room with fruit flies and spiders in the tube with is also dirty. I know it is a roommate situation but the preferences do not match at all. I came into a place with panties on the floor , stuff all over and more . When I spoke with the office about the many discrepancies they basically told me that I lucked up and they could definitely show me some worse rooms ( as if that was a great ideal to fix the current issues) there is a lot of excuses being given about how they haven’t had the opportunity to hire termination people and pest control workers. If I could give zero stars, I would. My daughter lived at The Vault while attending Georgia Southern, and it has been an absolute nightmare from day one. When she moved in, the unit was FILTHY — hundreds of alcohol bottles were left in the kitchen from the previous tenants. When she called management, she was told that “cleaning between tenants isn’t a policy of theirs.” That should’ve been the first red flag. She later transferred to KSU and was not allowed to break her lease. Despite no longer living there for nearly a year, she has continued to pay rent every month — on time. She even offered to help find a new student to take her spot, especially when we heard other students had been displaced due to property damage. I moved in to this apartment 9 months ago. I have 3 other roommates, a college student, Military personnel, and a full time worker. Due to Covid-19 the College student and Military Personnel have moved out and returned to their families. Leaving me to tend to Our other roommate myself. Please Note Prior to the other 2 leaving they put in formal complaints about our other roommate here. As you can see in the above attached pictures the living conditions are extremely unsanitary. 5 Months ago a Property Manager came in to do a quarterly review of our apartment and took photos of these conditions herself and assured me it will be resolved. As of today even though the management has addressed this situation I am still being forced to live in these unsanitary conditions. It saddens me that the

im writing this review for two reasons. one, in hopes that i actually get a response from the managing company, or someone who can actually tell me what the hell is going on. two, to help people see what their money is going to. i have been a resident since august of 2023. the management company that was here when i first moved in was amazing. this new one that we have is absolutely terrible. my locks were changed without my knowledge, there has been little to no communication about what is going on, the freaking stairwell outside my door is going to fall through in a matter of time, there is a massive bug problem, and so much more. i have put in maintenance requests and called with problems, with no resolution in sight. the only reason that i stayed where i am is because it is the cheapes

Absolutely love the staff! They are sweet and very professional. My unit is very nice, repairs are prompt. The only drawback to this apartment complex is the high crime rate. But The Vault, along with the city of Statesboro officials are working to solve this issue with 24 hour patrolling security. Ever since the 24 hour security crime has gone down significantly. My suggestion would be to get a unit on the top floor if you are to stay here.
