The Tide Apartments

This review has been a long time coming. All 5 star reviews on this place are either from friends, family, or a straight lies. When I moved in in 2021 rent was $600. Being all I could afford at the time I could deal with the quirks of the place. Now the new lease renewal is $900. You may ask why not move out? Simply put financially for some of us right out of college it is not possible. This place was never meant for the rich anyways. List of problems since moving in: -Door was leaking water every time it rained. It took 2 years and 6 maintenance requests for it to be replaced and sealed properly. Floor is obviously ruined and warped. -You cannot run the stove and microwave without blowing the fuse box. -The water tank is old and makes a horrendous gurgling sound, it's old and has build

This is particularly directed at Trina. She has been wonderful. Due to a tough situation, I had to move out of my condo and she was able to assist in moving me in promptly. However, I accepted a new position at a new company and had to move due to relocation. She has been diligent in making sure my money has been paid back and has worked with me more than any other landlord ever has. I appreciate everything she does and just know if you move here, you have her in your corner!

Communication from the beginning should have been a warning sign. 1. My husband and I both reached out to the office to view the property. He received a call back and appointment to schedule. My call was never returned. 2. Day of the appointment we arrive Madison who scheduled the viewing was not there and the manager Trina did not see the "scheduled" appointment listed 3. the unit we were suppose to look at was not vacant and we were unable to view that unit. However, Trina found a different unit for us to view. 4. Applied later for the unit. Madison calls and says "the unit you applied for is now gone, I can refund you your application fee" I had to ask if anything else was available and then she mentioned actually there is a smaller unit that will be available. This place has gone to absolute sht over the last year. New owners are lazy and irresponsible. Multiple units without AC. Repeated flooding in units. Trash not collected regularly. Maintenance doesn't know what he's doing half the time. Won't open the pool. And the people in the office are rude always have dirty looks on their face like your inconveniencing them by expecting them to do their job. And they don't respond to messages. This used to be a great place to live, now i count the days til my lease is up. This place is trash and so is their communication and mannerism. TRASH

Definitely not pleased with the beginning of my lease nor the end of it!!!!! Moving in someone took a poop in my toilet left it there and smeared poop on my door, thermostat was not put up in my apartment, washer was sitting out of socket and not set up at all, & now My tub has water sitting in it and has been for over a month with nothing but unpromised answers, maintenance man came to fix it and used a plunger and said he will be back and closed out the maintenance request! Me and my children have been taking baths and showers at my mom’s place everyday which is an inconvenience! Promised a 2 bedroom and never got it. My car was tampered with by a tenant, kid was bullied by tenants kids for months, wasp nest sitting at the entrance of my door way, fees tact on but request barely answered
