The Summit Apartments

Ok. I haven’t ever written a bad review before but yikes. We moved in in January. I was 2 weeks postpartum with my son. It was dirty. Like hadn’t been swept. The patio had just caked on dirt and dust?? The bathroom door was covered in sticky hair?? First, we go to pay our rent and our rent was higher than what we signed. It took them 2 weeks to fix this. We finally paid our first rent IMMEDIATELY after they fixed it. Then we get carpet beetles. We lived here for about a month….. I tell the front desk about the carpet beetles and have nothing for two weeks. I contact again and they said they just forgot to put it in……. I unfortunately had post partum depression severely hit me randomly. We decided it was best to move in with my parents because of this. We told the office in February. Sig

We just moved in but so far it is great! Ondrea, the leasing agent, is incredibly responsive even with my constant questions prior to move in. She has made our entire move in experience as easy as possible! Our apartment (3rd floor) has all newer appliances that are very nice. The kitchen has more storage than we know what to do with! The property is clean and the amenities are great. They even have little doggy bags and trash bins everywhere so it is easy for people to dispose of their dog's waste- no messes in the grass!

I generally don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience in hopes it helps others make a more informed decision. Unfortunately, my time at the Summit Apartments was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, communication with management was slow and inconsistent. Maintenance requests often went unanswered or were delayed for unreasonable amounts of time. When responses did come, they lacked urgency or any sense of accountability. One of the most frustrating aspects of my experience was the handling of my security deposit. Despite multiple follow-ups over several months, I received no clear explanation or resolution. Beautiful apartments with heated pool and reasonable prices. Very friendly staff unhelpful.

The worst mistake of my life living here! Management is awful, they’re never there and never answer the phone. The apartment was absolute garbage when I moved in, and when I moved out they charged me for the previous damage that was there before! The absolute biggest rip off. I didn’t even get my security deposit back because they sent it to someone who wasn’t even on the lease! DO NOT MOVE HERE!
