The Stevenson Apartments at Brightwalk

I was so excited to apply and move in to this nice newly developed apartment complex. Unfortunately the application process and dealing with the property management is horrible. They don’t reply to emails or answer phone calls. When I first started the process Jessica assured me I would hear something back in 24/48 hrs that was in Aug! It’s now November and I still haven’t receive a email or a phone call. I walked in the office to see about my application and the new office employee couldn’t even find my application she went to the back and came out with it. Like as if they weren’t even concerned with it. I asked her how come no one answers the phone or reply back to emails. She was so rude and nasty with her responses it made me so mad. If I could give no stars, I would! The property management, office management, maintenance management, the whole team are all a complete mess! I went 6 months awaiting repairs to be completed which the quality of the property destroyed! My car was stolen from the property, the property management is never available/ office is always closed! The homeless use the halls for shelter! The dumpster area is literally a walk in dump yard with plenty of stray cats! Office team members are very unprofessional and liars! Especially the manager JESSICA! And the property head LOUANN YENQUE!! Once the time came to not renew my the property management took 2 months to respond to my follow up calls and emails on my security deposit, which they provided 4 different arrangements of me receiving my paymen

I have been living here for 5 years now. The first 4 years were great in despite of having some maintenance issues but the last year has not been great. The property manager Nika was not very nice when calling me and after the first call, I chose not to communicate with her again via phone. I am very disappointed because I have never had a problem with the office staff. I felt very attacked. I have never had any issues until last year and I have chosen to not renew my lease because of her. Please be very mindful of how you communicate with others, you never know what someone is going through. The other managers in the past were very nice.

I advise no one to move here. Nikka Ross is very unprofessional. I moved there in 2021 and the manager at the time was Kendall and she made it a pleasant stay while there, always answer calls and resolve issues. All Nikka Ross do is sit in the office and wat and gossip taking personal calls. I moved out the end of July 2023 and because my son and I would not let them tow my car at 12 in rhe afternoon. My sticker was out and I had until that Friday to pay it. I showed papers and all but she wanted to mess with me. All those cars over there with 2019 stickers on them and she said nothing. I was on a work trip and someone backed into my son car and Nikka would not even release the video and after we found out who did it she would not even cooperate with the law to get my son car fixed. No, I am not a resident. I just wanted to take the time and put the spotlight on Nika Ross. Her and her maintenance team found an item that was stolen out of my car and did their due diligence and reached out to me. I am forever grateful. That is customer service beyond what is expected of her role. Nicka I appreciate you and the conversation. Knowing someone would go above and beyond as a given is a truly remarkable trait to have.
