The Stepping Stone Group

I’ve rented from stepping stone going on 3 years now and I’ve never had issues like some of the other reviews describe. Maintenance responses and repairs are always super speedy, efficient, and mindful of my time and space. The office responds quickly whenever I have questions(and I have lots lol) or concerns and they are always super understanding and helpful. Paying rent is easy and reasonably priced in my opinion. Also when I was pregnant the office put together a little gift bag for me which was actually so sweet. So yeah, Until I save enough for a house I’ll continue renting from stepping stone hands down. ❤️😎

I’ve been renting my unit with The Stepping Stone Group for four years now, and I genuinely can’t say enough good things about them. Their communication is always clear, timely, and thoughtful, and they actually listen to any concerns I bring up. Every maintenance need—big or small—has been handled quickly. They’ve helped with things outside their control like power outages, repaired steps for safety, replaced my old leaking sink, and even came out immediately when my key snapped in the door. I also appreciate that they allow dogs (which originally drew me to the property), and they’ve taken my backyard concerns seriously by adding mulch and making improvements. Even non-urgent maintenance requests are usually handled within the same week. I don’t know anyone else with landlords or a prop

We rented an apartment from Stepping Stone for four years and had a consistently good experience. Caleb was our main contact at the office, and he was always friendly and reasonable. He was communicative and made sure to resolve any issues we had as quickly as possible. The maintenance team fixed things quickly and did it right the first time. They also made several improvements to the building over those four years: new exterior paint, fixed up the parking lot, added a 'free little library' and reading area, and new landscaping out front with cute garden beds. The building was always quiet and kept clean by professional cleaners. We were very satisfied renting from Stepping Stone!

Felt it was time to leave a review after a few years. The worst company I have ever rented from, and I sincerely hope they improved since my years with them. My unit dealt with a menagerie of creatures in it - ants and hornets every summer, so many mice and rats year-round, a bird (??). I went through ~5 property managers in several years and none seemed informed by the last one. My unit had a connected porch which they randomly boarded up one day as well as three of our windows without notice, I only found out when I was face to face with a repairman against my kitchen window. On average it took 1 week for them to respond to maintenance requests. And I had several instances of maintenance workers arriving and letting themselves into the house without my knowledge while I was in the shower

They have been the best property management I've ever rented from. Quick responses, reasonable, and the speed and quality of maintenance work is honestly something I have never seen before. Good communication. No complaints.
