The Slate at Decatur Apartments

Yanira was absolutely amazing on the tour! She was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. She answered every question with patience and really took the time to make sure everything was clear and comfortable. Her energy was warm and welcoming, and you can tell she truly cares about what she does. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Yanira you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been living here for a little minute now and I can honestly say it’s been a solid experience. The apartments are clean and spacious Maintenance is good I put in a request and they handle it way faster than I expected. The front office staff is cool too, professional but not stiff. They actually talk to you like real people 💯

Starting this to say, we pay rent on time, IF NOT EARLY every month. We have not once been late on a payment or have had an outstanding balance with this complex. Management is frustrating to say the least and very unhelpful. We had our car parked in front of our apartment, and because the gate to the complex is routinely broken…. Car jackers were able to come in. They smashed our back right window and messed up our push2start, meaning we cannot even drive our own car to get it fixed and repairs were costly. Despite none of this being our fault they have attempted— no, SUCCEEDED— in towing our car that can’t even be reclaimed from the pound because again, car jackers rendered it undriveable. We had already communicated this with the complex, that it’d be unethical to tow a PARKED car owned

Im starting this review by saying I am not nor was I EVER looking for a handout. My family has been living here since 2021. We have been through 3-4 different managements. (Not our issue, just annoying.) Im sure many people are currently having issues in this economy and this is based on my own eyes of the many evictions I've noticed over the past few months. (Very unfortunate.) I myself have communicated with "promise to pays" more than once and I am very thankful for the cooperation but what I don't appreciate is when I receive a 3 day demand eviction notice and I call to verify that my promise to pay was received on 2/5 I am met with rudeness and then hung up on. They don't send out a confirmation email/call to assure you that it was received. As someone with 2 children, I just neede

Danielle & Yanira makes living at the Slate so fun by hosting gatherings/giveaways. They also make everything easy and simple with their consistent communication, professionalism, and understanding . I love that the campus stays clean with good amenities and is not far from surrounding cities. The maintenance team Arthur & O are very quick to fix work orders and willing to give useful advice to avoid future problems in your unit.
