ROACHES and TERRIBLE Management – Beware! I don’t even know where to start, honestly. I moved into The Skylark in 2024 under a completely different management team. My first unit was actually great—quiet, clean, no roaches, and a solid value for the price. But everything changed by summer. The issues started when their website went down—for over four months. We had to pay rent via money orders, which was a hassle in itself. When I tried to move into a new unit, the process was a complete nightmare. Because the website was still down, they didn’t have a proper lease for me to sign and tried to charge me and my roommate incorrect rent for the entire month of August. I just wanted to give a shout out to Emanuel in the leasing office I had a delivery mix up and he was super helpful with helping me retrieve my package! He went above and beyond and I’m really thankful!

Overall the grant park area is nice but the between Willow Bridge's incompetent management team (who will lie directly to your face), slow maintenance, and ongoing security issues, it felt like it was more work to live here than it was worth. Management and Office Staff: Management under Willow Bridge has been consistently frustrating. The office staff, including manager Quentin Rucker, are unhelpful at best and dishonest at worst. You will be lied to directly. In 2024, we asked why identical units around us were listed for $200 to $600 less than our rent. I’ve called/emailed and everything I can to this property about my application fee. I was approved back in March and was told it would be returned to me. I decided to go with another option at the time because the process was too long and outdrawn and the reviews were scary. No one has contacted me back, the phone does not work, and the office hours are sketchy. I’m willing to take this as far as it possibly can go. I’m trying my best to give them a chance, but this is my final one.
