I had a good short term lease here. It was 6 months with nice price point of $1200 for a one bed one bath (this is average with utilities). These are older units, but old is gold in some ways. They just revamped the court yard outside the unit I had and there are 2 pools. One thing that's nice is the community is close knit with lots of families, dogs, and long-tenured leases (no joke met people there living for more than 10 years!). ~ I wanted to give Jake, a staff there, a 5 star review for being professional and giving good accommodation on initial tour and move out.
The apartment unit is solid and maintenance staff there is quick to respond to requests. However, my bathroom has flooded 3 times in 1 week. Although the clog causing the flooding has been fixed, the apartment just floods again 1 to 2 days later. Whatever issues exist with the buildings plumbing at unacceptable and the reason I am giving one star, as I have not been able to live in my own apartment for a week. I am not planning on renewing my lease and cannot recommend signing a lease. Update: I’m adding this to respond to the comment I got from the Rosedale below. I have attempted to reach out to the Rosedale. Their maintenance has been made aware of the issue and they stopped the leak. However, I have not heard back from the Rosedale’s ownership or maintenance on what steps they are taki
Great location, nice pool. Lots of problems. Unsavory people hang out at the dumpsters and it feels unsafe, even in the daytime. As a resident, my car was towed because they didn’t recognize it but at the same time don’t keep documentation of resident vehicles. I was not reimbursed $370, nor provided documentation (which I requested) to contest the illegal tow. Additionally my locked up bike was stolen, my car was hit repeatedly while parked, management advised, didn’t care. The laundry machines (washers & dryers) are generally broken, management doesn’t care. The cockroaches are appalling. I always paid my rent in full, on time. I gave two months required notice before moving out. Now the company dropped surprise move out charges that doubled my rent after moving out.
Lived here for the past month and am having a great experience. Really love this place. The location, neighbors, manager and maintenance manager make it a great place to live. It's giving quaint, Austin druid vibes. Very well kept and the pool is always clean... like, "not one leaf" kind of clean. An older apartment building so expect to see some chipping paint type thing... other than that, absolutely no mold, pest control came through the day I moved in and haven't seen anything in my house other than the normal Texas buggies/spider buddies that are everywhere.
I'm including their initial response in the photos in case they decide to change it but they are admitting that after a clean out it is EXPECTED that you will see the amount of roaches I have seen. Long story short: they moved me into an apartment knowing it was infested with roaches and uninhabitable. These roaches are of various life stages and they come out during the day which indicates an extreme infestation. Long story: Got here 2/5 and was told upon arrival that my apartment was not ready because the cabinets needed to be painted. I was offered $100 for a hotel or that amount off my rent. I said I would wait and take the $100 off rent option. When I asked to see where I could put my things while they were "painting", I immediately saw a bug and pointed it out and Daniela picked i
