The Retreat at Lakeside

I absolutely love my unit. I got very nice appliances and and the fact that the washer and dryers are in the units are the best. All the many layout they have for there 1,2,3 bedrooms Management don't play any games with safety. Christina is by far the best manager that I have seen if u seen the property before she came compared to now ,it's a big difference . From the remodeling to just getting the property coming back to life . She has worked so hard to keep people out that don't belong. I will surely sign another lease here .

I’ve been here for the past month & everything is smooth & fine! Some reviews seems off putting & I was skeptical at first but you get what you pay for! It’s worth the price & it’s quiet here! No one bothers us as long as we pay our bills & mind our own! The ladies in the office do a great job, especially with the hassle of some of these tenants. Overall it’s a good place & the office /maintenance is doing their best!

I’ve been here 4 years and the new manager of 6 months has my family living in rain water! My roof leaks every time it rains. My ceiling fan is leaking through the bulb area. My plugs don’t work and they have me paying full rent for these raggedy apartments. They try to say they’re gonna fix stuff and they don’t. They’ll complete work orders without fixing anything and the people that work here will lie and say that they worked on stuff and they didn’t. We are living in mold and they will not come fix anything. I do not recommend these apartments. They’re not good for VA or section 8, so don’t look to come here you will fail your inspections. My window is leaking and have been leaking the whole time and they will not fix it. We have been fixing everything since we’ve been here and I’m tire

So I appreciate Ms. Shay for helping me through whole process far as application and get it done and submitted and getting approved and getting instant response back and for completing my unit before sending out for inspection and making sure it passed and while also waiting she kept in contact with me and always was helpful and sweet and very professional and always willing to help me and never complain or anything. I felt like home before I moved in and now I’m officially a resident and I’m so excited for new beginnings. I love my place and thanks to Ms. Shay , love you 😘🥰😘🤞🏼🫶🏼🤞🏼

Move in experience was shitty, literally shitty, there was poop left in the toilet wasn't flushed and poop chunks all over the toilet, cleaners left and did not clean it all the way, they also seen us walk in the town home and they walked right past us without saying anything. as we were told it was ready, mold in light covers, floors were not mopped or cleaned, overall a good town home, just wasn't prepared like they said it was. Experiencing all of this made my day go upside down
