Customer Reviews
I was excited when contacting the Retreat Apartments but, the welcome we received just coming in to get on waiting list was down right disrespectful. They were out until noon okay, we were outside staff on inside knew this. We come into office, a african american woman in one office, another staff member comes out , stating can she help us. First of all she could have said. Hello, welcome to Retreat Apartments, How may I help you. Then state your name but that did not happen. Secondly, we make to much to get on waiting list, she stated $38,000 or so is cut off but rent amount for two bdrm, 2baths were reasonable. I will not be bck nor fill out paperwork because of this. Be professional in what you do. We are not beneath you of how we look or carry ourselves. This is why a review is being
I went to look at these apartments yesterday and I really love them. I'm just confused on the leasing part. I called the 866 number and a lady told me they go off your income to determine your rent. I was interested in a three bedroom for me and my three children. (in January a little girl will be here as well). The lady then asked me how much I make a year which was least than the number she stated. She then stated my rent would be around 600-700 for a three bedroom which was perfect. I went to fill out an application yesterday and it was a different story. Mia was great don't get me wrong, like I said I'm just confused. When I got there she said due to my income I made to much for the price I was giving which was the tax credit apartments. I would just like a third opinion from the regio
What I like about the apartments are the walk-in closets and the spacious bathrooms. The apartments have washer and dryer hookups which is plus. I stayed here for year and it was hell. I had difficulty finding parking space because tenants would have their guest over. My apartment had mold and a busted hot water heater which I had to continually call the Maintenance to fix. They never changed out the heating vents. I also had issues with my upstairs neighbors with the continuous banging and loud music all to which, I reported to Korina and Brooke and it wasn’t addressed and it conditioned. When I did call I could barely reach anyone because they’re rarely in the office. How are you suppose to help the residents and you’re not there? At one point trash was over flowed so much so that it
The apartments are very nice and spacious.. We were looking for something affordable and spacious, we definitely got that and a lot more problems. To start I moved in and the apartment WAS NOT CLEANED, we are asked to go though the apartment after move in to go over things that were broken or things they may have overlooked during their inspection.. To say the least it was hell of a lot( NOTHING too major so I thought).! I turned my inspection papers in, and soon after I could hear dripping in my closet that holds the hot water heater and furnace. I went in my room closet only to discover that mold had set up in my room closet, and discovered the real reason for my breathing trouble( I have asthma, and this was during the summer). I called the office and to my surprise they came rather qui
Don't go here 🙄 The staff is so disorganized, whenever I have issues they say they will call me back and never do. They have given me the wrong keys for my mailbox, when moving in they changed the price of the rent like three times. If you do come here DO NOT get their wifi, it doesn't extend to the bedrooms in the back of the apartment and frequently stops working for DAYS, pretty much every month. The longest I've went without wifi is about 6 days. The walls are extremely thin and I can hear everything my neighbors above me do, including snoring. My friends apartment had mold COVERING the ceiling to her pantry and she had to fight the office people to fix the issue. The only plus side is you get a good amount of space for the price, but honestly it's not worth it. I can't wait until my l
