Lived here almost 5 years- secluded, inexpensive, landlord was responsive and maintained the area meticulously. Most importantly, he respected his tenants (didn't treat you like some type of peasant; merely there to fill a corporate banking institutions' coffer). I haven't lived there in quite sometime, but, Bill is a landlord I wish I could have today. If you read this, hope you are doing well.

This is the nicest apartment complex around the area. Maintenance is right there when you need something. The buildings are solid and I rarely hear my neighbors. The area is peaceful and deer and turkeys walk through the complex. So close to a supermarket, CVS, the beach, the casino if that's something you like to do, an arts center, botanic gardens, breweries. Just a short drive and you can reach major highways. Very happy to have found this place.

Royal Oaks Apartments have been an excellent place to live. They are super clean and everything is in perfect working order. The staff and maintenance crew are easy to work with, honest and quickly responsive to all matters. The apartment is right behind a grocery store, CVS and close to restaurants ... and most of all a short walk or bike ride to a beautiful beach to enjoy! I would recommend this place to anyone as it is truly the best, safest and affordable apartments to stay at in the Michigan City area! Thank you!

My husband and I lived here almost a year, we had to leave early due to his military job, but the staff and owner of this apartment are very hard working, helpful people. We had little to no issues living here. They are very clean have solid structure. We felt very safe living here and had very friendly neighbors as well!

My wife and I lived in the Courts / Royal Oaks Apartments 18 years ago and purchased a house in Trail Creek. We are now selling that house and downsizing and never thought about moving anywhere but the Courts / Royal Oaks Apartments and we're so happy to be back! The buildings and grounds are impeccably maintained, in a truly woodland setting. We’ve seen birds, of all kinds, from hummingbirds on our balcony, to a buck, a fox and many wild turkeys! Bill Walker, the manager, continues to do the things that make the grounds attractive and homey. There's a true sense of security and the buildings were designed and built so we're unable to hear our neighbors, other than in friendly conversation coming and going.
