The Residences at St. Elizabeths East

I regret moving here at first it was beautiful now there’s trash everywhere nothing has been fix since the two years I been here, Went up on my rent from 1250 to 1600 how. Maintenance is lazy can keep nobody the grounds are not kept up. Trash everywhere nobody cares

I don’t reside here, however I applied to these apts and tour them twice and I was told that the apt was mine (twice by two different people) I turned all the papers in I signed all papers. I was told I could move in in May 2025. I went last week there to get an update for the move and now I am told that there’s nothing available. No one returns phone calls, I am now stuck with no apt and no where to move. Also the leasing person no longer works there.

I actually hate living here. I hated the entire moving process, but I was homeless so I did not have many options. You have to call all day to speak to one person because no one ever answers, the property manager is never available to speak and they never return phone calls. The leasing specialists never know the answer to anything when it comes down to requests for maintenance or assistance, but they sure know how to make sure you do that application. The leasing consultant scratched my boyfriend's daughter 's name and convinced me and my mom it was ok to have my little brother and sister on my lease so I did not have to pay an application fee for another adult. The property has had its challenges over the past year , with the new onsite management I’ve definitely seen a turn for the better. Ms Ford has been very good with addressing maintenance issues and the overall upkeep of the property. I recently report my air being broken a she’s been working diligently to get it fixed along with the awesome maintenance staff.

Apartments are nice & very spacious! Extremely urban (ghetto) environment. A lot of problems in unit no ac sometimes all the doors have been rigged to not lock. Parking is almost never available. (Unless you are paying management under the table for bogus temp parking passes) Car break ins, apartments being walked into amazon packages opened/stolen & to top it all off the property manager Sheena is utterly useless. She has the property in a frenzy & is clueless. She is the sole reason I will not be renewing my lease. She breaks every rule possible for the residents she knows personally but a market paying resident such as myself gets unnecessary attitude. Not to mention someone was recently shot & killed in front of my building in broad daylight. I really miss Tom Gay. She was the prime ex
