I guess I'm going to be the contrast here, but note that I don't shy away from spitting bad reviews when I feel wronged. I've only been in one of their Queens building for a year, and my experience has been excellent. Had a leaking pipe in the kitchen - fixed in 24h. I've had a faucet leaking in the bathroom - replaced in 48h. Building had a leak on the roof and water was coming down the elevator, I thought it was going to be out for a couple of weeks - fixed in 3 days. Always got an email response AND a follow up call to my requests, signs get posted whenever something changes, they upgraded the laundry room - I appreciate that kind of diligence and professionalism. We have had a massive leak in our ceiling the entirety of our lease so far. I have sent numerous videos to our Property Manager and been informed by our PM that this has been a known issue long before we signed our lease and that they covered it up with fresh paint when they were showing the unit. We also didn't have any heat until the middle of December despite rising the issue in October when we moved in. there have been other issues which eventually were fixed so I can't really say to much about those atm, but the repairs were NOT quick and there was a lot of gaslighting by our super about it. I'm sharing this review as I'm about to vacate one of their properties, 109 Gold St in Brooklyn, due to the end of my covid deal, as a lot of are these days. First I want to say that the current super, Arben, and his wife Marika, are wonderful. Marika takes care of the building day-to-day. 1. Moved in a year ago when there was a covid deal. Of course I didn't realize that the "one time" rent decrease meant it would go back to pre-pandemic rent. I cannot afford the $600 monthly increase so please ask all the questions if you see anything other than a very clear rent number on the lease. 2. Our firm has some terrible experience working with Danny Chiu from pinnacle management. He is responsible for the paperwork but always does not provide what bank or attorney asked for in a timely manner. When our clients try to call him: 95% he won't answer, 5% he'll answer with bad attitude.
