The Pines Apartments

Talked to an older sounding lady on the phone about available apartments, was immediately rude right away when I was asking questions and treated me as if I was dumb. Just wanted to know if the unit had a dishwasher or W/D, because pictures online doesn't always match what the apartment actually has. She got snippy and short with me acting like I was insulting her. I felt very put off and will NOT be applying. Get better staff please.

I lived in this apartment complex with a roommate and 2016, didn’t have a bad experience then being on bottom floor. Fast forward to 2020. My husband and I are looking for apartment, well they’re cheaper, so we found an upstairs apartment. summer 2021 has been the worst summer ever apartment living! I’m assuming since the building is old with poor construction and a flat roof the heat poors in through the vents. Smell of mold and mildew and hot air poors through the vents. We have two nice stand up ACs, one in the living room, one in the master bathroom and we can’t have both of them running and a coffee pot in the kitchen because the power isn’t strong enough. The power is always shutting off and we will have to flip breaker switch. Also, we’ve had multiple maintenance problems one being

This place is the most poorly built building ever. It has black mold EVERYWHERE. I itch because of it and feel sick. I'd rather live in a tent too like one of the guys said. I dont see why the landlord hasn't been sued because of this. I will gladly report it asap to the law and get the people in charge of this building in trouble like they deserve. Because clearly nobody has done that and it needs to be done. Ive had to throw away so much of my stuff because of this mold problem. Its absolutely uncalled for and i think this building needs to be taken down completely. I could die because of it and so can everyone else in this building. 👎👎👎👎👎

After living there and seeing the decline of the property maintenance, and the managements attitude and demeanor. I would recommend a tent in a city park before I would suggest this rental.
