The Park at Midtown Apartments

I love this community! It was the first—and only—place I toured. I met Desiree right away, and she was incredibly welcoming. She took the time to learn what I was looking for in an apartment, got to know me a bit, and then sent me on a self-guided tour with refreshments and personalized recommendations. She explained each unit’s features so well! I actually toured the wrong apartment first, and I’m glad I did—it turned out to be the best happy accident! I fell in love with the vaulted ceilings, the HUGE walk-in closets, and the incredible sound insulation. Under new ownership the facility is improving. But I can't get used to seeing people smoking pot in the parking lot. One of my kids lives here and I don't feel like the place is unsafe, but it could feel safer. The facility is ok, but some of the residents are shady.

We’ve been living at Midtown Apartments (Park at Midtown) for 4 years. In the beginning, it was very stressful. We dealt with issues like: • Mold in the bathroom from poor ventilation • Bugs and roaches • Broken AC that took days or even weeks to repair • Holes in the walls, damaged plumbing, and rusted stairwells • Walkways that would flood every time it rained We came to the office many times asking for help, and for a long time nothing changed. But now, we are very happy to say everything has been fixed. They painted the bathroom, repaired the walls, cleaned and updated the fixtures, and took care of every issue we reported. LONG BUT WORTH THE READ!!!!I was excited to move into the city and thought I had found a decent apartment within my price range just to be ultimately let down in every aspect. First thing, whomever was supposed to prep the apartment for me and my family half assed the whole thing. There were holes and dents left from the previous tenants. They didn't even bother covering the holes. The apartment is definitely infested somehow. Bugs keeps finding their ways into our unit. It's the same for the gym. I'm always running into bugs in there. I placed a little over 10 maintenance requests in my first 1 1/2 week living here. To top it off, we are paying more then we were initially told. There were fees we weren't told about until our first full month rent came and I asked about it, just to be told

Lem is always such a pleasure to work with! Her customer service is exceptional. I understand that customer service often means being the first point of contact for issues beyond your control, but Lem consistently remains pleasant, professional, and communicative. She keeps me informed with updates or delays, which makes all the difference. Her ability to stay calm and courteous in every situation is truly a rare skill. She deserves a raise!!!
