The Onyx at 3211

This is a great complex to live. The new management has been doing a great job of making improvements to all that the previous management didn’t do as well as just overall improving the quality of living. The maintenance men are great as well The answer request quickly. Overall, just a great place to live.

I lived there for 6 years. The only thing good about these apartments are they have a lot of space. Here are the down falls.... They changed management so much. The lady management they changed the lady seemed like she actually cared however it was too late. I started having roaches in my apartment and mold in the ceilings that we could not get rid of. My electric bill was over 600 dollars for months straight reaching as high as 800 dollars. This was not due to late fees but the AC was last replaced in 1987. This is what the HVAC tech told me when he came to check out the apartment. It would not get cool in the summer time. The pool had not been open in 4 years. I've lived here for 3 years now and day 1 issues have never been addressed. Promises made and forgotten. Incompetent follow through. I'd chock this all up to negligence. First up, people looking for a place should know that the prices listed on the website are GROSSLY misleading. The unit that I rent is listed for 805. We pay 1100 for it. That's with the yearly rent increases despite nothing being done to improve the actual quality of life at the complex. There's also an insane roach problem. I know it's the south, but every year they are back in droves and it's disgusting. At one point, they also made everyone pay for a parking spot? Start suing them for negligence. No one is supposed to live with mold or in an unlivable environment. Document everytime you tried to reach out to them and they did nothing to build your case. I’ve been telling them about mold since March of last year due to a leak in my window where an outlet is of last year and spring is about to come up and it will be raining so I will be contacting the fire department for safety violations. reach out to “Augusta 311” and report them. Also, report to the health department.

Staff at the onyx are so personable, helpful, and kind. They guided me through the entire process start to finish, answering any questions I had. The landscaping is beautiful and well maintained, and the apartments are even more so! The interior was so clean on move in, comfortable and spacious. I couldn't believe how amazing the experience was. I would and will be recommending the onyx to anyone looking for a gorgeous and relaxing place to call home.🥰👌
