The Oaks of Lake Jackson Apartments

Please avoid this property at all costs. Upon move in the unit was very dirty and had major structural damage, i.e. warped floors, incorrectly epoxied bath tubs, broken/cracked tile, and multiple ceiling patches that were not properly done, etc. A/C does not keep up in the summer time. Temperatures average around 85-89 degrees in the summer in the upstairs two bedroom units. Excess humidity caused black mold to grow along door frames. We had issues with multiple brown patches appearing on the ceiling from rain water seeping through the roof. Maintenance would spray sealant over it only to have rain water soak through again. Management is rude, unhelpful, and retaliatory when addressing habitability and maintenance issues. The A/C issues resulted in a violation from the County of Lake Jacks

Very pleased with the new management at these apartments, she really has a big heart & puts her all into what she does!! The ladies in the front are always so helpful & never make me feel like I’m a bother if I need anything. I love all of the space my one bedroom has, definitely recommend!

If I could give zero stars i absolutely would. The amount of problems we have had since the last manager was here is ridiculous. Nothing ever gets fixed my front door has been broken for a week in a half and nothing has been done about it. So when I finally sent a email asking about previous problems in my apartment along with the EMERGENCY WORK ORDER that should have been corrected the same day . She stated it had been “closed” ummm absolutely not because the software will send out a notice to let you know it has been closed. Don’t worry though they will lock the pool and replace that lock before fixing a front door. When calling to ask about the front door lock I get told “ oh they are working on ac”. Considering I am in the same business I know how the work order status goes. Worst comm

My husband and I lived here for a whole year 2022 and would pay 1000$ monthly and they had us living with those conditions and would never get it fix we would complain to get fix but they didn’t care after we needed to move I made sure I cleaned it deeply and still getting charge 1086$ getting harassed by collectors to pay up when they had us living like that for the whole year our apartment number was 1507 downstairs roaches infested and mold they are rude and don’t care about you

I have family living here for the last 10 years. New management refuses to enforce their own policies. Literal screaming and fighting at 1am in the pool, plumbing coming up through the ground with literal feces and other items. Management screams at tenants when they have complaints.
