The Oaks at Lakeview

My boyfriend and I toured at Oaks at Lakeview a few weekends ago and the leasing agent we toured with was honestly what almost sold us on moving in there. We did end up leasing elsewhere due to the location and wanting to be closer to work but the leasing agent was really personable. If we do move again in the future we would probably lease here. The apartments are nice and the pricing is great for the apartment you would move into.

I've lived here for about 2 years, and I am transferring to a larger two-bedroom apartment. The office staff are professional and have been very generous in working with me to meet my needs. They allow larger dogs than most apartments and the maintenance staff work hard to insure your items get worked on quickly. You can't beat the move in costs as well as how easy it is to transfer to a different apartment should you need to expand your space.

Lived here for a few years. I really liked the apartment. The floorplan was pretty solid, all the appliances worked and I never had a maintenance issue. Most of the neighbors were pretty okay. There was several that were awfully noisy though. Almost everyone has a dog, and while the apartments are relatively sound insulated, the doors are not. If your neighbors dog down the hall barks, you'll probably hear about it. Also there appeared to be a standing rule that no one was supposed to pick up after their dog because there was dog waste everywhere. The pool is way to small for a complex this size, I think they have it just to check off the boxes of amenities. The parking lot was ultimately the main reason I moved out. There aren't enough parking spots - nor were there nearby available

I really love my apartment and the area is quiet and feels safe. Administratively, I have had nothing but issues. I'm only one month into my lease and I have a lot of regret. This was a really exciting move for me but it has been clouded with lack of response and misinformation from the management of this property. I was told I couldn't see my unit before I moved in because they would need to clean the unit. When I moved it, it was a mess. Food splatter on the walls and doors. I had completed a checklist of damages to the apt before move in. Put in service requests for non working electrical and missing components. A week later, I found out that Paula never submitted my requests and I was sitting around waiting for service techs that weren't on the way. I was told my rent would be $200
