Sadly I can not give them less than one star. The absolute worst company. If you like being gaslighted, they are for you! If perpetual scaffolding floats your boat, look no further as they have been up since Obama was in his 1st term. If you have no problem being lied to, Moinan is for you. If you have affection for the smell of manure for months with no action than come to 90/100 John Street aka The Aria or now the Manuria. If you like holes on your exterior walls because their contractors walk away from the job then this is the place. Who doesn't love waiting for elevators that are constantly breaking? If you value your sanity stay away from their buildings.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. This is absolutely the worst real estate management firm I have EVER had at an NYC apartment building. The management office is next to non-responsive and provides little to no help on any tenant concerns. After 6 months (FEB-AUG) of following up on utility issues via phone and email, I have still not had any assistance or resolution from the property manager. I have called and left voicemails and also asked for a phone call, and never received a response. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT live in a building managed by this company.

If you see the name Moinian, stay away. They won’t answer tenant calls or emails. They refuse to see you in person. The only way to get maintenance or repairs done is by taking them to court. You’ll have to do that a lot. Ask yourself if that is worth choosing a Moinian property over their competitors.

I’m giving one star only because it’s not possible to give negative five. If you’re looking to experience what it’s like to have your emails ignored for ten days or to receive no response at all, then this is the place for you. Being falsely accused of damaging the property and then having a substantial amount of your deposit deducted seems to be their specialty. Don’t expect your evidence to be acknowledged, especially since they might even dispute your move-in date. A truly disappointing experience.

NEVER and I mean NEVER move into a building managed by this company. Only 1 of 4 elevators runs for a 33 floor building. The line is insane. The wait is insane to go anywhere. 2 years now this has been an issue and they never fix it. I have never seen more than 2 elevators working. Other residents have said this is an issue that has been forever. 2 years straight now my building has only 2 dryers working for a 33 floor building. 2 dryers imagine the backup in laundry room. Scaffolding has been on the building for over 2 years and I’ve never seen a single worker. Oh and there’s a roof deck that was promised and never happened. Stay away
