The Mission Apartments

If you are a young woman (or anyone but especially a young woman), please find somewhere else to live. I recently lived here for two years, too long. Packages go "missing" especially around the holidays. Inappropriate contractors. My advice: disregard any reviews from people who only toured the building or lived in the building several years ago. I'll just leave it at that.

These apartments are absolutely beautiful. I made an appointment to view a one bedroom apartment and signed on the day of the viewing. Wardell was really accommodating to my schedule and took the time to answer all of my questions. I have not moved in yet, but so far the service has been great.

I enjoyed living at the Mission Apartments for over 3 years. The building is well maintained, and provides great access to 14th Street (can't beat the location). Byron, the community manager was incredibly helpful, and was always accessible if any issues arose.

We recently rented an apartment at The Mission Apartments on R Street north of Logan Circle. Great apartment, great staff, great neighborhood. Beck, one of the on-site staff, has been incredibly helpful - from showing us the apartment, helping thru the lease process, and helping make moving in smooth. A small maintenance issue - a stopped up sink - was fixed very quickly. All of the staff we have met have been kind and helpful. Neighborhood filled with restaurants, shops - hardware store in the next block, 3 big grocery stores within 5 blocks in different directions (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Safeway), new Asian grocery store - Rice - a block away.

I was in a bind looking for an apartment last minute, and Troi from the Mission was PHENOMENAL. She was attentive, and demonstrated an incredible amount of patience and professionalism with me despite my complicated situation. The unit itself was stunning too. I'd recommend that any prospective tenants check out the building–they'd be lucky to go through the process with Troi.
