The Midland

Sonny, Sonny, Sonny, Sonny, Sonny... This is how many times I asked for Sonny( The Super) to fix something. Truth be told I've been a tenant here for about 3 months, and with someone leaving where your moving there will no doubt be some repairs that need to be addressed. Replacing broken blinds, caulking, shower head not providing any water pressure, All addressed quick. Im new to apartment renting coming from a house so I wasn't sure about who took care of these items. Sonny assured me he was on top of everything. True to his word he took care of all items. Reading previous reviews concerned me but it did not include Sonny. I mention him alot because from my initial experience the comfort of living at The Midland does put the pressure on Sonny to deliver and so far so good.

We moved in back in February and my husband and I really love it. Its an old building, not without its quirks, but whenever there has been an issue (small paint cracks, asking about updating a light fixture, installing new dishwasher, repainting the bathroom), the problem has been resolved incredibly quickly and timely. This has no doubt to do with the current super, Sonny. When he says he will get something done, best believe it will get done. He gives his word something will get done and honestly it does within an incredibly reasonable amount of time. I love living in an older building, i think they're better built, but honestly knowing that the building is being tended to by really amazing hands makes me feel so much better about living here.
