The Mews at Annandale Townhomes

I have lived here for a little over a year now and love the sense of community. I know my neighbors and meet new people at rhe dog park often. In the past month I have had a few things go wrong in the apartment and maintenance attended to them quickly and professionally. The office staff are pleasant to work with and always ready with a wave and smile as are the ground keepers. The ground s are lovely with a particularly relaxing with a trail by the stream and another in a short wooded path by the train tracks. While we may not have loads of shopping close by, there are plenty of quaint shops and restaurants in nearby Clinton and Annandale is a great place for me to call home.

My husband and I live here and at first everything was fine. Slowly things have gone downhill. The Mews is one of those places where everything looks nice and polished but in reality, they can't get things right and they offer less and less for your money. First and foremost, there are a few good things. It's a low crime neighborhood and it's kept clean and tidy on the outside (mostly). That's about it. The SERVICE here is QUESTIONABLE at best. They recently installed a system that shuts off your stove automatically when your (very sensitive) smoke detectors go off. During the install, they left our kitchen a mess with DUST, DEBRIS, AND DIRTY FOOTPRINTS in our unit. We keep a spotless home and require guests to remove shoes in the home. THEIR SERVICE STAFF DOES NOT RESPECT YOUR HOME. Eve

Horrible experience with Brandi, she's cold and not a good person. The woman who helped me the first time was awesome, then I met Brandi what a horrible experience. They work on a fraudulent system with how they price their units. Also for what you paying you'll have a section 8 tenant under you who smokes? Yet you have to get 100k in property insurance that doesn't cover your own belongings? Yea I was so excited to move here until I met Brandi, the price went up 200 dollars over the weekend. She has 0 emotional intelligence, she's rude and has 0 customer service skills. They price their units based off of the daily market rate ( avoid Morgan Properties at all costs) my friend told me they do this and then get bought out by companies who control rent better. Don’t move here in 2025-2026. Simply put, look elsewhere. There’s new rules around “community safety and beautification” that have stripped all small personal liberties from tenants. No dog tethers, no decorated decks, no yard signs, they threaten to tow your car. Things that people like and care about are being taken away while rodent infestations, ant infestations, broken streetlights, and people not picking up after their pets are rampant. The maintenance team has recently shifted away from a really great team, and most work orders you put in are fixed with band aids, not actual solutions. This place is more trouble than it’s worth nowadays. Long story short there’s better places to go and you’ll be happier to looked elsewhere.

Brandi and the rest of her staff including the maintenance staff as well are amazing. My wife and I been here for about 7 years now. We've never had an issue. Great place to live. Lot's of Amenities.
