The Metropolitan

There are random people trespassing every month. And what type of management doesn’t salt the driveway for their residents. Dozens of us had to call out of work due to not being able to get out of the parking lot. I can’t even go to the grocery store. This is ridiculous and we should have our rent discounted for this inconvenience. Hire a new building manager since she doesn’t know what she’s doing. But thank you to Emmanuel who shoveled today- the only staff member who cares

I’ve been here 5 years and used to LOVE this property. Unfortunately, the management company hired one of the worst property managers I’ve have the displeasure of encountering. Between safety, communication, and general interaction with residents, the property manager has decided that retaliation against residents is far more important than actually doing her job. Neighbors are very friendly and there is a general sense of community among residents.

I've lived here since September 2021, and I agree with all of the negative reviews here. If you'd asked for my opinion 2-3 years ago, I would've rated it highly. However, things have gone downhill considerably since then. A few things: -Rent increases: Despite this being a rent-controlled building, Dreyfuss will increase your rent to the maximum they're allowed. Since I've been here, they've made no improvements to the building. Well, unless you include the crappy furniture in the lobby that hardly anyone uses and the new vending machines selling overpriced detergents, candy and snacks. -Upkeep: The elevators break down frequently, and I've heard some people have been stranded. I'm on the third floor and always try to take the stairs when I can. Apartment features: They have a nice vint

Easily the best renting experience I’ve ever had! Thank you to the wonderful team at the Metropolitan for having me. Your care and attention to tenants is unmatched. When I move back to DC, I hope to return to the Metro. :)

I've been a resident at The Metropolitan since 2019, and I can honestly say it's been a wonderful place to call home. The grounds are always well-maintained, the community is peaceful, and whenever I’ve had an issue in my apartment, I know I can count on Emmauel to fix the problem! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and skilled; there doesn’t seem to be anything he can’t fix! Beyond that, he's just a kind, dependable person, and this building is truly lucky to have him! I’ve also had the pleasure of getting to know Ms. Bernice during my time here. She is consistently efficient, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. She’s helped me on numerous occasions and kindness never goes unnoticed. Her dedication definitely makes a big difference in this community. Both Emmanuel and Ms.
