Professional staff well kept property. Let me share my thoughts and experience with the Meridian Apartment Homes and its staff. Shaquita is the leasing manager she has been nothing but wonderful professional, courteous ,knowledgeable and consistent. Maria the front desk clerk assistant she is warm, patient, understandable, funny and kind. Tameka is a powerhouse and was pivotal in the process of getting potential candidates credentials and approvals please know and be mindful she is persistent, diligent, professional knowledgeable and her willingness to do her job supersedes those of similar people in similar positions held in different companies. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of security at this property. We were all issued gate passes, and management clearly stated that the gate would be closed and fully operational by September 28th. It’s now October 5th, and the gate is still wide open. Because of this ongoing negligence, my car was stolen right from the property. To make matters worse, the security guard who is supposed to be patrolling was asleep on the job. This is completely unacceptable for residents who pay rent expecting a safe, secure living environment. There’s no point in issuing gate passes if the gate stays open and the people hired to protect the property aren’t doing their jobs. Dominium has a knack for hiring outstanding individuals who are both thorough and compassionate. Now, let's dive into the distinction between tenants and residents. You can identify a tenant by their behavior: if trash spills from your car and you leave it there as if a butler will come to tidy up, you’re a tenant. If you leave soiled diapers outside your door, that’s another sign. If you carelessly place your garbage in front of the dumpster instead of using the compactor, you fit the tenant profile. At first I thought this was a great place to live. It took a year to be accepted because they kept moving back their opening date which isnt the main issue. First off , They raised our rent MID LEASE September 1st which is ILLEGAL in Georgia they sent out an email sating it would not take place until lease renewals. Once they did not honor this, had the actual nerve to type a letter saying rent increases will be honored and say they sent out the previous email mistakenly. They also stated in the letter they sent out exact increases to rent letter Before the mistake email which was incorrect. Per the email that was a "mistake" those exact increase letters were set to be sent within a couple weeks not BEFORE and the letters were never sent. They only said this to cover their ass but did not
