My Experience at The Mark at Chatham’s Parkway Management Company: West Shore LLC Rating: ⭐ (1/5 stars) After living here for five years, I feel compelled to share my honest experience to help others make an informed decision. Security and Safety Issues: The entry gates have been broken for over two years with no repairs in sight. This has led to constant solicitors and unauthorized people on the property. We’ve had multiple car break-ins, and when I reported these incidents, management simply sent an email telling residents to call the police themselves - they wash their hands of any responsibility. I can’t safely walk with my children due to residents driving at excessive speeds throughout the complex. Additionally, there are aggressive pit bulls and other dogs running unleashed, creatin
My husband and I just received our keys and must rave about the experience. Karen was such a pleasure to work with. She was extremely kind, professional and accommodating when it came to meeting our needs. We even made a few adjustments last minute and the team handled it with no issue at all. The property is well taken care of and our apartment is an amazing condition upon move in. Thank you so much Karen and Erin! We’re so happy to call The Mark our new home. ❤️🫶🏽
Too expensive for what you actually get. Not worth it. Living at The Mark Savannah has been disappointing. Even though the rent is very high, residents can’t properly enjoy the amenities. On weekends, the pool is packed with people who clearly don’t live here. There’s loud noise, constant smell of marijuana, and if you try to play music, others will just turn theirs up louder. It’s chaotic and frustrating, especially if you just want to relax with your family. The gym is often overcrowded, and sometimes even smells like marijuana, which is completely inappropriate for a place at this price point. There’s no real security — the front gate is always open, there’s no security staff, and when the guest parking fills up, people start using residents’ assigned spaces without any enforcement.
I had a few days stay at the Chatham apartments, it was a pretty nice getaway for me and my wife. The apartment had pretty much everything we wanted: bath and shower, full kitchen, balcony, and all the kitchenware and toiletries necessary for a comfortable stay without having to run out and pick up more essentials. The ping pong table had extra paddles available, but not a single good ball to play with, unfortunately. The rain kept us from enjoying the pool, which boasted a pretty nice setup. The gym was lacking, but then again I’m an avid gym goer, so that’s not a dig on the complex. Overall, it was a nice setup and good break from the grind of daily life.
Lived here for two years, and when my roommates stopped paying rent, I was the only one covering anything. Management offered little to no help, got rude with me, and refused to hold anyone accountable, except me, because I actually had money in my account and was the only one paying anything This place is filthy. The “luxury” complex is still dirty even though they claimed they were going to pressure-wash everything. The gate never worked, and multiple SCAD students had their cars broken into because robbers could just walk or drive in. They love handing out random trash fees and acting like they care about building a better community, but all they do is lie, slap on fees, and avoid responsibility. Terrible management run by a bunch of Karens with a weird ego complex
