The Maddox at City Crossing

I miss living here! We lived here from 2021-2025, and while no place is perfect, the staff here go well above and beyond what I’ve seen from most other rental companies — especially the maintenance staff! Any time we reported maintenance issues, they were usually fixed same-day, or as fast as they could get an external vendor to handle it. They even did proactive maintenance like air filter replacement and digital door lock battery replacement (I have never, in over a decade of renting, seen a place proactively come in and change filters — amazing!). Managerial RMS staff were also usually very on top of things, and responsive the couple of times we needed their assistance. My family and I have really enjoyed our time living at the Maddox at City Crossing. We love the amenities and appreciate its proximity to eateries and shops in downtown New Haven. In the year that we've lived here, I've only made one maintenance request and I was impressed by how quickly they responded to my issue. Management has also been great. They organize thoughtful community events and go above and beyond for their residents. Special shout out to Tiasha Smith! She made the move-in process easy and has continued to amaze us with the effort she takes to make this place feel like home.

I have lived in the Maddox at City Crossing for 3yrs now, and I must say the management/maintenance team is top tier! I have lived in other “luxury” apartments in the New Haven area and nothing compares to City Crossing. Donna McNamara(management) is very personal, family oriented, and understanding, which is important to me because I have children. Tiasha Smith(assistant property manager) very helpful and efficient! The timelines of service and maintenance requests, and responses are quick and a smooth transaction. The staff here takes the time organize resident gatherings, on and off premises. Most of all I feel at home living in my apartment here at the Maddox.

I recently moved into The Maddox at City Crossing, and I am so happy I chose this building for my new home! I toured too many luxury buildings across New Haven to count, and ultimately, I chose The Maddox because of its location, ultra luxury amenities, and because the building staff were always so helpful throughout the entire process. My experience since move-in has been amazing and confirms for me that I made the best decision! I cannot say enough about the building personnel and how helpful and responsive they always are. The location on Congress Ave is a short walk to downtown and all my fav restaurants. The Maddox is a beautiful building with great amenities. There is a perfect balance of being close to the “happening” places in New Haven, but also having easy access to the highway for a commute outside of the city. It was my first time moving outside of my home state and the lease consultant, Tiasha Smith, went above and beyond to make the moving process seamless for me. She is very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and was available to answer my large breadth of questions, seemingly at all times of the day. Very happy I went with the Maddox
