The Lantern at Glen Mills

My family has loved living at The Lantern for almost two years, and we’ve had a consistently positive experience. The management office is incredible. The maintenance team is wonderful and always completes requests in a timely manner, and the landscaping team does an excellent job keeping the property beautiful. The community is quiet, clean, and well cared for, and our neighbors are friendly and respectful of shared spaces. We’ve truly enjoyed calling The Lantern home.

Worst place I have ever lived. Crystal the regional manager is terrible at her job Leasing office never answers or returns calls. Expect to move into a disgusting and unclean apartment with dead bugs in the carpet. Cheap appliances that constantly stop working. Extremely expensive utility costs. I’d rather live in a dumpster than spend another second here. Do not move here. It was the biggest mistake I have ever made. I regret it every day. #DimtheLantern

We absolutely love it here! Ally was our first point of contact and has been consistently professional, responsive, and friendly throughout. She’s always quick to help and a pleasure to interact with. The maintenance team, George, Lem and Quincy are also fantastic—always professional, approachable, and never miss a chance to say hi with a wave when we pass by. It really makes a difference and adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

This place sucks. Been living here for over a month and everyday something new breaks. The condition of the apartment at move in was disgusting and absolutely embarrassing. The carpet was literally covered with dead bugs, which is a clear health code violation. They are lucky I didn’t take them to court. No wonder the rent is cheap. Please don’t make the same mistake as me and move out. I will include pictures of the apartment when I first moved in

I wish I could left no star!! I had a very disappointing experience with this apartment management. After notifying them that I would not be continuing my lease, instead of handling things fairly, they began adding extra charges. What makes this worse is that one of the charges was simply because my notice was considered “late” by just 2 days—right after a long weekend when I was out. If this was such a strict policy, a clear letter or reminder should have been placed on my door well before the 60-day notice deadline. Relying only on emails, which can easily get misplaced among other priorities, feels unreasonable.
