The Landings at Silver Lake Village

Very nice place to stay and quiet most of the time. You can get to Silverwood Lake and park within walking distance or Salo park right in front of the apartment, plus the cub food and nearby restaurants and amenities. But the building layout is a bit of a walking for someone living at the end of each hallway. Overall , really nice place

Generally speaking, maintenance in my apartment has been prompt and effective. However, the maitenance in the halls has been less than acceptable. The carpets, newly-installed approx 3 years ago, are getting stained and those stains are not removed promptly.

This place is run down, if you do a thorough walk through of the building and pay attention you’ll notice it. Management is poor, the lady who works in the office who’s been there for years is usually in a pissy mood and is very rude. I lived on the first floor and that was a big mistake. There is a train that runs every 30’min in the back parking lot of the building and I could feel my apartment shake everytime. You’ll hear every footstep of whoever’s living above you. Overall the building is outdated for the price and if you are looking forward to using the amenities just make sure to have $500 for a deposit fee. The apartment is split into 2 sections 2501-2105 from what I saw there seems to be a certain demographic that’s subjected to one side and all the others get the other side.

The staff is very friendly and kind, and they are willing to help with even the small inquiries. They respond quickly to maintenance requests, such as issues with the room's interior. Although our stay here is temporary due to studying abroad, we are able to live very comfortably in this apartment. Thank you:)

I have been a resident at the Landings at Silver Lake for about a year. It is a very nice building that is well-maintained. Shopping is nearby and both Minneapolis and St. Paul are not far away if you need to go there. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Kaitlyn, Lisa, and Emily keep the front office going on a daily basis. There are many nice amenities such as exercise room, outdoor pool, and a large community room for gatherings or parties. This is a very nice building to call home.
