The Lakes at Renaissance Park

The worst place to live. The apartments are very neglected, the administration is horrible. They gave me the apartment in the same condition as the previous tenants left it. I was without a washing machine for a month and every time I went to the office or called they told me that they would change it and nothing, I have been living here for almost two months and I still don't have keys to the mailbox or a filter in the air conditioning and all The days they tell me that they are going to bring them to me. They do not have any Professional Ethics. I've had nothing but disappointments and problems since we moved here.

2025 Final Review - Current Management is unresponsive and rent is higher than anyone should ever pay for the condition of this property… check back when management changes AGAIN. 2023 - Adding a star with this update!! Rent is reasonable again, so I'm back. No complaints with the condition of my unit. Mailboxes are broken with no plan to repair them, but overall the current management is the best that's been here in the last 5 years. Can’t beat the location for the price!! [shopping, food, entertainment, MetroRail, H.E.B all within 5 miles]. Maintenance is prompt and actually resolves issues. Over a year to have the repairs that still were not done. People in the office mixed up rent payment with someone else. No one wants to come home to a standoff SWAT situation! Or neighbors fighting physically and throwing rocks at each other cars over and over again and nothing done about anything at all. Within a two-year span went through three or four office managers or people who just sat in the chair looking crazy. Small and compacted parking. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone at all!

I’ve been here over a year and we’ve had changing management and horrible experiences left and right with that, but our current Property manager Jannette is the best in the WORLD! I can tell she is here to STAY! She is Constantly catering to the residents and making sure we have what we need! Always staying on top of her team! Very professional and you can tell she cares about what her tenants expectations are! Always welcoming and easy to talk to! The staff is always working hard to meet the needs of the tenants and you can tell. Great price for the area we’re in! Can’t beat it! I’ve even referred two family members to live here! Love it here! Highly recommend !!

I was well prepared for the hassle and annoyance of moving. As soon I started talking to Jeannette and she explained and started working on my apartment. I knew "oh I'm good" she explained what I needed I got what she said and I'm done. She explained everything so well and so professional.
