This building has one of the worst management I have ever dealt with in my life. They barely communicate. They do not respect your time at all. So let me explain what happened. I came in to see the property, and I was told that I can have a month and a half for free they did not disclose that this period had to be divided up between the first six months and the second six months. Second of all, they told me that the first payment I had to do had to be a money order and I did forget about that so I did an online payment when I went to speak to property management I was told that the payment I did online I don’t have to have to have it refunded because I will get it back as credits on my upcoming rent and then I brought them the money order with the amount they requested which was about $988
We are SO THANKFUL for the Julian Apartments and their hospitality and generosity in sponsoring our festival. They were so kind to let us use the lobby for our green room for performers and the apartment for our hosts. They kept everything clean and tidy in the lobby and staff was super welcoming. They took care of us well and it was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to partner again in the near future. Thank you Broc and team for your hard work in keeping Julian a great place to stay! Highly Recommend!
I wish someone had told me that before moving into The Julian Back in April, my partner and I thought we had found the right place. Instead, we walked into weeks of delays, paperwork redone twice because of management and platform changes, and the uneasy feeling that we didn’t really have a choice but to wait. The night after we moved in, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Someone had fallen asleep while cooking meat at 3 a.m. A month later, the pool area was stripped of its shaded couches and replaced with metal frames that lasted two weeks before collapsing. Now there’s no shade at all. With record Florida heat, the pool has been unusable most of the summer. Then came the power surge, five days without AC. Management did provide a portable unit (4 days after the surge
We just moved in January and truly LOVED the community, areas, and amenities. Staff has always been nice and welcoming. I will say it's currently March 7th, at 2:48 in the morning and the fire alarm will not stop. The building has SERIOUS fire alarm issues and will go off in the middle of the early morning and late night. Our flashing does not stop in our unit so it is really annoying when the beeping stopped but your entire apartment flashes for hours. We've been here 2 months and this is really affecting our lives.
I have enjoyed the Julian, for the most part. There are great qualities like location, the gym, and the pool deck. You can walk to most of downtown and have food and coffee options right by you. Plus walking to sporting events is a win. We’ve gone under new ownership, which has been fine. No major wins or loses. However there are some issues as well that everyone should know before they sign. The fire alarm will go off multiple times during your lease and I don’t mean twice; I mean upwards of five. The AC has gone out three times and off for days with no updates. Though you can request a portable unit, not being able to open a window makes your studio stuffy. For the gym goers who would like to use all amenities, the Peloton bikes haven’t worked since I signed my lease and I’ve asked man
