I regret to say I cannot recommend The Jax to anyone who values responsiveness, safety, and basic quality of life. While the location near public transit is excellent and the resident community is genuinely friendly, these positives are completely overshadowed by severe and persistent management failures. The critical problems: Chronic Elevator & Gate Failures: The elevator is frequently out of service. More critically, the back parking gate has been broken for over three months. Management has not fixed this, allowing non-residents to park for free in our paid spots. When you can't find a spot, management is unavailable to assist with towing and we have had no confirmation if residents will be reimbursed for parking elsewhere. Saturday properties is absolutely horrible and impossible to get ahold of. They’re non responsive & don’t fix issues. We had a fire that destroyed our windows back in MAY and now being December, still are not fixed and no plan on place on being fixed anytime soon. Animals using the bathroom INSIDE of the building and right outside of the side door so it reeks of animal urine and nothing being done about it. People smoking inside of the building and nothing being done about it. Screaming in the halls at 4-5am nearly daily. We’re supposed to have secured parking and there’s people that will block the garages and trash won’t get picked up so the trash room has been filled to brim with trash for weeks because of the lack of the property management doing their job and fixing/enforcing the par

I would NOT recommend this property or any property managed by Saturday Properties to anyone. The Jax is currently under "new management" (Saturday Properties) and while as a resident I can be patient to the nuances and challenge that comes with overtaking a new property, the incompetence of the management at The Jax, is not what new residents deserve. I moved in on 1/31/2026 and the experience has left me feeling like the management here just wants to insure you pay your fees but not resolved any issues you have had. It took over 9 days to receive internet access, 2 weeks to receive a parking gate fob, I was originally assigned to someone else's parking spot, maintenance request go days/weeks without getting resolved, they dont charge you all your rental fees per your lease agreement upfr

So I moved to this apartment December of last year. These are the things I wish I knew before moving here. -property manager Becca and lease coordinator Sydney are different. Property management is not on site nor easy to communicate with Sydney is around but only for tour and new leases - one neighboring building is a half way house. - there is a detox and rehabilitation center that is closing and losing funding this December - the back alley is used for unhealthy to do recreational things. All things. - there is a poop pit that is never cleaned. - the parking lot is gated. But the gate arm gets driven through often , now no one in the city can find parts to fix it again. - you pay for gated parking but the property management has to call in for the tow if someone’s in your spot since i

The parking lot issue is getting out of control. It's been since Memorial Day the parking arm was broken. Many promises on when it's going to be repaired...but none kept. Latest and greatest. I was waiting for a delivery but couldn't receive it because the 4th street parking lot was blocked. Four cars. Also, random cars parking in assigned parking slots. It's not fair for residents to have to confront trespassers regarding parking. When will the gate be fixed? UPDATE: Per the Jax Management they will finally start the parking permit enforcement policy starting October 31st. What they didn't address is the process for reporting violators and having them towed. Let's see what happens...fingers crossed.
