The Islands Statesboro

I just moved in and my unit was in rough shape. The new maintenance head assured me that repairs would be made quickly and efficiently. He definitely delivered, in less than a week, I have gotten a new floor, had all smoke detectors changed, had all door knobs replaced, and had several electrical outlets repaired. I understand that this place has some funky reviews but I am confident the new maintenance crew is working hard to ensure tenants have a safe and comfortable living space. I am positive that I have made the right decision to spend my college career at The Islands!

Lauren Venable is literally an angel! I had to get documents to purchase a car and she helped me with all of it, back and forth phone calls because the bank needed more documentation, and she was patient and so happy to help me. I would not recommend enough how sweet the staff are in the front compared to most leasing offices in statesboro where I live previously. I could not thank Lauren enough!

Todd came to our unit and replaced our stove oven and fixed our outside outlet. He was super nice and helpful. totally recommend

They don’t even deserve one star. This is my 2nd time living here and it’s gotten even worse. Parking slabs are poured incorrectly which leads to large amounts of flooding with rain, causing tenants to walk through puddles of 2-3 inches just to access their vehicles. They give obscene fines for parking violations and if they cared about the quality of our appliances, homes and surrounding areas as much as they do about parking fines this place would be magical. We have had our microwave out for 3+ weeks now and nothing has been done. We were told the maintenance man can’t fix it because he “doesn’t specialize in microwaves” and that the leasing office had no timeline for when the microwave could be replaced because “ the vendor comes and goes as they please”. This is downright unprofession

The islands is a great place to live. They respond quickly and are willing to go above and beyond to suit your needs. In my opinion, they have the best rent pricing in Statesboro even as Statesboro continues to grow.
