The Huntington at College Station

I am writing to express my displeasure regarding the living conditions at The Huntington of College Station, where my 80-year-old grandmother resides. She moved in during the summer when temperatures were above 100 degrees, yet she was forced to endure several months without a functioning A/C. The only assistance provided was a shaky window unit that struggled to cool her apartment. Temperatures in her apartment reached almost 85 degrees during the middle of the day. It has been 4 months now and she is still getting by with the window units. Luckily the temperature has dropped but that does not completely fix the problem, she is still struggling with sleeping. I can find nothing I have been disappointed about residing here at the Huntington Apts in College Station!! I understand that us elderly can always find something to complain about; BUT if I speant hours trying to find fault, can honestly say I can find nothing but praise as to living here! They have always beem most attentive and efficient when I have a need! Thanks to management and staff for being so kind, professional and expedient to ALL my requests!! 💜

I walked in this place with my aunt today and I was at so much peace. The environment was wonderful and the place was so clean. Staff(Sierra) was amazing. She helped us with everything and comfort us in the most humblest way. My aunt is 76 and this place was EXACTLY what she was looking for. Big Thank You to Sierra and this place itself! We loved it!!!

The apartments look nice and we would have loved to my mother-in law here after her stroke but the on site management was very sub par. No follow up and lack of communication from them forced us to go elsewhere. Good luck getting ahold of them the phone goes straight to voicemail with no mailbox set up to leave a message. I could not find who the owner is or who the property management company is or I would have called them. Not the level of service I would expect for our seniors. When you have a senior parent that gets ill its a trying time, I would think people who deal with seniors would be a little more on top of things.

Its a beautiful senior community. Must be age 62 or above to live there. It has stairs as well as an elevator to get to your floor. The apartments they offer are brand new and spacious. Washer dryer connection and pet friendly. They will soon be adding a court yard with mini golf and a nature trail to the area. Scott and White hospital is across the street.
