The Highland Apartments in SLC are legit! The location’s dope—super close to the canyons, so winter stuff like skiing is basically out your door. Management’s chill and quick to help out. Plus, the place is always clean and looks nice. Totally recommend it if you’re looking for a sweet spot to live!

Beware. I have been vacillating about writing a negative review but I just have to. I rented a $1300 400 square-foot apartment, which became $1440, then, a $1670 apartment (average monthly) before my electric bill. I didn’t mind paying for the parking, but the Internet fee is added to rent at $100 per month, non-negotiable. And heaven forbid I called the office about my loss of WiFi, since they directed me to the Internet company I wasn’t even paying directly!! Internet in Salt Lake City averages $35 a month. Do the math. $60 profit minimum, per unit, per month, per year, multiplied by seven even-larger buildings, same owner, is an extra $250k directly into the landlord‘s pocket each year!!! I wish I could give negative reviews but alas. I moved here in November of 2023 and it is NOT luxury living at all. Though they definitely charge you that amount…. Very cheaply made, to the point that my bedroom window leaked both all of last and this winter. I have had to deal with leaking windows that have lead to black mold developing. I am actually contacting the city about this because it has been a year of ongoing black mold/leaking windows which the property manager only had maintenance paint over the black mold as their way of “fixing” the issue. Random fire alarms will go off with the only notice being an email sent 30 min before the alarm goes off. I've been a resident here since December 2023 and I frankly have not been in a living situation with a more negligent management team. There is literally no one from the management company ever present in the building so there's no one to report issues to. When you try to contact the team via phone or email, there is never a response. The power to the whole building will randomly shut off with zero warning and fire alarms will randomly be going off without any fires present. It's near impossible to contact management to make these issues heard. This is all on top of the apartments themselves being billed as "luxury" when the appliances are of cheap quality and don't work. It took me a month to get my dryer fixed when I first moved in. Not sure what these reviews are about because since living here I have had nothing but great service from the management team. Kobe in the office is always so nice and helpful. I love living here!
