The Greens at Windy Hill

I recently lived at Greens at Windy Hill and unfortunately, my experience has been far from positive. First off, they’re attempting to charge me for supposed damages to the floor, even though we took the initiative to fix the issue ourselves after maintenance completely ignored our requests for help. We did what we could to make sure the floor was in good shape, yet now they’re trying to blame us for problems that weren’t addressed by their team. To add insult to injury, they are also charging us for leaving trash outside our door. However, the trash area itself is a disaster. The dumpster is rarely emptied on time, and there are often piles of garbage bags surrounding it, making the whole area unpleasant and unsanitary. Lived here for 4 years now & love the location as its easy to get anywhere and is close to my work. I have pest control treat my apartment every 6 weeks and I don't have any bugs unlike other people who I see are complaining on here. I also keep my apartment clean & don't leave food or dirty dishes out. Management has always been helpful too and maintenance is a bit slow but they eventually get to me.

If you can’t afford anywhere else, you can make do in this complex. But if you have other choices, think carefully here! The complex’s website currently boasts the Greens as “luxury living” which is a fantastically misleading statement. It’s an old property with myriad old property problems and besides the wastefully unnecessary granite countertops there is NOTHING luxury about this place. The pool is original, tiny, and full of screaming kids when it’s open. As of writing this today, I’m at the end of my 4th year leasing in this complex and moving out. I have a laundry list of complaints about this place that exceed the average expected apartment living experience. #1 Pests: My 1-bedroom unit was infested with cockroaches. Going on December 12 haven’t moved in and my move in date was November 1. haven’t moved cause apartment was and still infested with roaches a unit they leased out. Still dead roaches in light fixtures from when last resident who occupied unit. Bathroom pipe leakin on floor with mold buildup on the side of sink cabinet. Put in request and was told that have roaches isn’t a emergency. Even though I have medical equipment I have to use and don’t want roaches crawling on the equipment. Seeing that I put a request for leaking pipe and mold in the bathroom a week ago and that haven’t been fix either.
