Cortland at the Village

From someone who has lived here for several years, heed this warning: DO NOT MOVE HERE, especially if you intend on being outside of your apartment at any given moment. There is dog waste everywhere due to lazy residents and a severe lack of waste stations. I’ve never seen so much dog waste and I’ve lived in apartments my whole life. You’d think for a complex this large, Cortland would install more waste stations that are easily accessible and plentiful. There’s dog waste in the landscaping, on the sidewalks, in the parking lots, IN THE TENNIS COURTS—literally everywhere. You and your dog will be dodging bombs just trying to throw away their own waste. There’s smeared dog waste in my building’s breezeway because someone stepped in it and scraped it down the breezeway. My husband and I just moved here, and we have already had the most amazing experience at Cortland at the Village. From the very beginning, the entire process felt smooth and welcoming. When we were touring and applying, our leasing agent, Blakely, was truly the absolute best. She took the time to answer every question we had and made us feel so confident in choosing this community as our new home. I cannot recommend this complex. Specifically, the Arbors community. This has been the worst apartment living experience I have ever had. First, as others have mentioned. Dog shit is everywhere. For months, dog shit was being consistently left on the side walk in front of building 2035 in the Arbors. You park your car, step on the side walk and dodge dog shit on the way to your unit. I went to Resident Services with this issue with pictures as evidence and the response I got was basically this is normal. Resident Services has employees with no customer service skills and does not want you coming to them with any complaints, they will insult your intelligence. I guarantee if dog shit was being left in front of the Residence Service building sidewalk they would have an issue. Next, is the
