The Glen at Alexander Apartments

I am going to start out strong by saying: do not reside in this apartment complex. It is NOT a gated community (the gate arm is always broken so four to five people are allowed in at a time). The apartment complex is a joke and that is not an exaggeration. From the very MOMENT we moved in, there were issues with bugs. The noise is outrageous and not to mention the “services” they offer are a rip off. There are so many rules with the trash that you might as well take it yourself to be paying 30$. The pest control is a joke, and we have to get an outside company to spray the house because the bugs are so bad. The trash compactor is ALWAYS broken or overloaded and there will be trash stacked up on the sidewalk. The pool needs to be resurfaced and is unsafe to be swimming in. It is not properl

If life happens and you have to move, before your lease ends these are the consequences. I had to go through and clean my own apartment when I moved in. It was dog hair everywhere. Chewed light fixtures and door panels. The refrigerator was dirty. Trash from the previous tenants on top of the cabinets. Inside of the cabinets dirty. They upgraded and painted the cabinets, neglected the insides. Pet hair in washer and dryer. Never any propane at pool, always had to ask. Pool always full of neighbor’s company. Beth was great the best apartment I'd visited in my search prior to my leasing somewhere else first. I wished i could have waited one day more and o would have been a tenant at her property. I will most definitely recommend her and the Glen to my family and friends.

This is my second complaint. I have called the office and spoke with a representative who told they would put in a work order. Hot water has been an ongoing problem since late August. At first the hot water stopped working. I put in a work order for to get fixed. It got partially fixed. The hot water still only lasts about 3 minutes!!! I hate to take it to the internet. I have children that I, alone have to make sure that they are clean and comfortable by my standards. FIX THE HOT WATER! PLEASE

Office staff, especially Beth Hutto, Property Manager, were extremely helpful and patient during the application process. The grounds, amenities and apartments are up to date and nicely appointed, and the other renters friendly. Good location for stores, restaurants and services, yet enough off main road that it is quiet. We are glad we chose but The Glen at Alexander.
