The Gallery Loft Apartments

Living here for 3 years has come with plenty of issues, specifically with management staff and their constant changes to policies and practices. The latest sad display of property management is they have suddenly decided to start charging for parking in the previously advertised as an included with rent gated lot, initiated out of nowhere in the middle of my personal lease. Something that made me want to rent here initially now taken away by corporate greed. They even went so far as to tow all cars in the middle of the day without notice and then threaten residents when finally notifying us about this new practice as if they will take away more amenities. Awful people, semi-okay place.

We love living in Gallery Lofts! Here is a breakdown of our experience so far (6 months in to our lease): Location: Unbeatable! Four blocks maximum from all of the best food and drinks downtown. Parking: We can almost always find a spot in the gated parking lot. The gate is sometimes out of order, but is usually fixed same day. If the lot is full, we've never been unable to find a street spot within a block of the building. Amenities: The roof area is great. Gym has nice equipment and we love using it. The dog park is an amazing perk that no other downtown apartment can compete with! Gated, with a code that changes regularly to prevent non-residents from using it. Well-lit at night, so I feel safe using it! Apartment: Spacious, huge windows, gorgeous floors, and pretty good kitchen/bat

Amazon Flex delivers 3am-7am in the mornings… This place doesn’t seem accessible during those hours, so Amazon should stop wasting drivers gas/time with inaccessible locations. Half the residents include an access code in their address notes while others don’t.

I toured a couple weeks ago with Nicole and she was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable about the property and was such a pleasure to work with! We are still undecided on where we are renting but Nicole made the visit to The Gallery Lofts welcoming so it is definitely a contender!

I did not post my review after moving because I wanted to believe that there would be more changes to accommodate the residents and to attempt to make them happy to live here. However, I must stand in solidarity with the other residents who have posted negative reviews and let my voice with my experience be heard. Please do not believe that the negative complaints are anomalies. Like the other posters, we LOVED our apartment, and we had the best location and the best views of downtown Winston-Salem that anyone could ask for! I could even walk to my job. BUT----DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! This has been the WORST rental experience that we have ever had.
