The Gallery Flats

I lived here for over a year. Had multiple issues with not only the homeless, who broke into my truck and stole multiple items, but left a crackpipe. thanks. the property manager, ernie was no help. Not only with this issue, but with dozens of others, including an issue at move out time. which was done in an extreme hurry due to an ex-girlfriend/violence issue. He wouldnt allow me to re-enter to retrieve the rest of my items bc I wasnt currently on the lease. This being a week after I had been removed and just needed to get the rest of my items while my ex was in jail. he didnt show any compassion or understanding what so ever. just a black and white guy. If I could give Gallery Flats a 10 star review I would. Ernie the manager is amazing!! He has gone above and beyond with assisting me from day one. I moved from out of state, so the application process was a lot for me to handle. He walked me through the process from beginning to end. His patience is second to none. Since moving in, I have had a couple minor maintenance issues. They were addressed very quickly. The maintenance men have wonderful as well. The building is always very clean. I honestly can’t say enough about how great my experience has been with Gallery Flats.

Other reviews are pretty right, according to our experience here. I think the apartments are a little overpriced, in general. But all of Colorado has high rent so eh. I think we were paying ~$1300 for the 1 bedroom ~600 sq. ft. apartment on the 2nd floor facing the parking lot. Speaking of parking, if you want to park under the building, it's like $100 a month. Otherwise there's a chance you'll have to park on the street and pay attention to the signs about what nights you can park on what side. That was always annoying. And the other reviews about noise are right. We couldn't really hear our neighbors, but the trains and any trucks or cars with loud mufflers that drove by were bad. It is reasonably priced, maintenance requests were promptly filled, I felt safe inside, great location, friendly community. Cleaners do a great job. Never had issues with packages being stolen. Great roof-top lounge. There wasn't always a place to park in the lot but street parking near the building was usually easy to find. The elevator often got dirty. Homeless people dig through the dumpsters and mixed up trash and recycling, so recycling was no longer available when I moved. I loved living here.

A ton of homeless people some of which will walk right up to you. Reports of someone recently getting into the building and trying to break into apartments. Management that does not communicate or be respectful or curious in anyway and the parking is horrible. Not a safe or pleasant place to live
