The Flats at Sugarland

I don’t usually leave reviews for individual staff members, but I felt compelled to acknowledge Shon from the maintenance team. He is consistently professional, respectful, and mindful of residents’ time when addressing maintenance issues. He communicates clearly, works efficiently, and is very observant, which contributes to a strong sense of safety and trust when someone is working inside your home. His genuine kindness and professionalism truly stand out and are greatly appreciated. He represents the complex well.

Brittany helped me secure our new place. She was extremely fast and knowledgeable. She went out of her way multiple times. Has a great work ethic. Thank you brittany and im so happy to call the flats my new home!!

The Flats is truly a lovely, clean, and organized place to live! There are often fun family friendly events and the community here is the sweetest! Especially our event planner here at the Flats Ms. Gale. She’s always got the loveliest attitude and ensures everyone is included and has a great time during the events.

The whole experience was ruined by their “method,” or lack of method, to do the moving-out process. 2/5 We called this place home for 3 years 🫶🏽. We loved the place; they were fixing issues and had all kinds of events, which were super fun. The neighbors were really nice, respectful, and pretty friendly. So the pros: good neighbors, fun events, upgrades/repairs, safety, playgrounds, and swimming pools. Cons: last summer, the swimming pools were dirty 4/5 times I tried to enjoy them 🙈. Valet trash showed up whenever they wished (read as if they did not show up at least a few times a week, excluding severe weather conditions) 🗑️. I am going to save you some time doing research. This place has been causing us some trouble, our boiler popped and caught on fire it was a whole situation they did not compensate us for the trouble of using the fire extinguisher and calling the fire department. The whole apartment smelled like gas, and I have a baby. Now our lease ends on January 4th, and I called to tell them that we will be leaving and not renewing my lease they said okay now they called my husband telling him that we are late on letting them know if we are renewing or leaving and extended our last date to the middle of January. Now we are going to have to pay the "fixed rate" for that month. Save the trouble on looking into these apartments try something else in my opinion.
