The Fairways at Birkdale Apartment Homes

Unlivable. Tenants are running overnight workshops and using their apartment units as commercial product making and delivery centers. This may edge as an illegal practice. Slowly a specific set of units in this community is changing into smoker's paradise. Besides, when we raise any complaints, this set of tenants keep slamming on the doors to warn others. Dangerous. The only control the management team has got is increasing the rent and at instances very steeply. I reported this issue a lot of months ago about this workshop practice. This one tenant openly delivers products and customers pick-up on daylight and late evenings. But the community management is responding with false reasons for some reason and supports this tenant. My first few days in and I am overjoyed, and glad I waited before signing a lease anywhere else! Months ago I had my heart set on Fairways at Birkdale due to its abundance of trees, seclusion and yet walking distance to many highly recognized points within Charlotte, Lake Norman and Birkdale Village. Having lived both in the city and on the lake, I was not sure how I would ever find a compromise. Yes, this is a mature property and that's truly one of its attributes. Rather than chose a box cut square apartment, that seems to dot every corner of the city, this beauty comes with giant Oak trees, across from the golf course, and next to generational neighborhoods that can never be torn to the ground and outfitted with commerce. I have lived here for almost five years and overall its been a great experience. The maintenance staff is fast to respond and Madison in the office is always so helpful. Buildings are on the older side so there are things that come with that but overall would recommend this complex to anyone!

This location is in proximity to Birkdale with less traffic and parking issues. That is why I am moving across the street here! Have had a great experience already. Susan L. worked tirelessly to help get me all I need- floor plan, first floor, move in date... I am very excited about living in this community, and thrilled about the amenities, especially the gas range!

JUNE 2025. If I could give a (0) I would. As would my spouse. So, here's the truth of the reviews "everyone wants to know the truth" correct? Ok, so if you want a LOUD neighbor that you have expressed a concern about and nothing was done... literally we were told "It's part of the apartment lifestyle" and that was that. So we have to fend' for ourselves. Even when the noise is at 0315am in the morning...or any hours of the day/night. When you literally have "TRIED" to express to the office of the noise ... light bulbs falling out of the ceiling exploding to the floor when the bouncing/falls in the above unit from residents, dogs, etc.... If you want noise, GO FOR IT, this would be YOUR place! (yay) NOT. If you want extreme MOLD in your unit, it's the place for you. We were given a "fan"
