The Fairfax

If you value peace and quiet, I strongly advise against moving into the Fairfax. The building is plagued by constant, disruptive dog barking, and despite multiple complaints, video proof, and follow-ups, management has failed to resolve the issue. The super does nothing. He’s awful, and ignores me whenever I send an email or have an issue. One time when I asked to speak with him, he replied “what do you want now?” Additionally, the people who oversee the building have been equally unhelpful. It’s clear that tenant comfort is not a priority here. The noise is persistent, and the stress it creates completely undermines any claim of “luxury living.” It’s a shame, because this could be a great building. I’ve been living in this building for over 7 years now. You get a decently renovated apt when you move in. However, as things start to fall apart they just replace them with old things. Very bad work, that breaks easily. Everything is done very cheaply. No one cares. Management is a complete disaster and useless. Also there’s tons of leaks all over the building, which means there’s definitely mold in the walls! If you’re considering this building you’ve been warned. The only thing it has going for it…it’s the location. Other than that…there’s better cared for buildings out there.

Stolen jewelry by either handymen or painters. DON’T TRUST THIS BUILDING! After a major leak in my building I was forced to move out for 3 days and not reimbursed for those 3 days. After those few days of handy men and painters in the building, we noticed that our baby’s baptism jewelry and other gold items were stolen. BUILDING MANAGEMENT IS A JOKE.

The door men here are horrible. Never a friendly hello, just a glance or heads always down. Numerous times I've been in and out with bags and not once have i had the door held open for me. Who runs this building? It's time for some extra training. Let's start with a Good Morning, Good evening and a Good night.

Mr Jose is poor communicator and treats me poorly when I inquired about an apartment he thinks he can just call me a frosted pretzel and not respond to offers he deserves no business as he dishonors his position with his presence use other agent if interested in this building
