I had such an amazing experience with Ms. Tracy at the leasing office. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond. During the application process, she personally chose an apartment for us with a fireplace—something she absolutely did not have to do, but it meant everything. That alone showed her heart and her attention to detail. Before I even came in, I said a prayer asking God to let me feel welcomed and at home with the leasing office, and honestly, meeting Ms. Tracy felt like answered prayer. Her spirit is so kind, genuine, and full of grace. She carries herself with warmth, patience, and integrity, and you can tell she serves with a servant’s heart. My family and I moved into The Emerson 1600 in 2021. We were thankful because it gave us more room for our growing family. The property was under old management then. We had a gate with passes as well as security on the premises, which we deeply appreciated. After a year of staying there, we started to experience a change. The property wasn’t as welcoming. The gates were taken away, more break ins started to occur, trash and dog feces all over the grounds. When we asked the property manager why the gates were gone, she informed my husband that it wouldn’t have made a difference due to the property only being guarded by trees, so people could still get through. I felt that was a crazy answer. As time went by we started to experience an ant and German roach infestation, as well as weed smoke

When I initially moved in, the experience was excellent with no issues until my dishwasher malfunctioned. Subsequently, despite numerous requests, no one came to repair it. Six months later, upon returning home, I noticed an unusual smell inside my apartment, indicating that someone had entered my unit. Items under my sink had been moved, and I received a call inquiring about the sink, to which I replied that the issue was with the dishwasher. The response was that there was a mistake with the work order. I requested a replacement, but they attempted to repair it instead. The repair was unsuccessful, and I eventually gave up. ARCAN CAPITAL is an awful company that neglects all their properties. I have been very disappointed with this apartment here at THE EMERSON 1600 and the office staff here as well. It doesn't matter how a person smiles and appears to be so genuine and caring etc, what matters is how you're treated and valued as a tenant after you've paid your money and you've moved in. The entire staff in the office will play dumb and insult your intelligence all with a bs smile while they act like they had no idea that all of the problems with your apartment existed long before you moved in. They rarely ever actually fix or replace anything no matter how raggedy or broke down it is unless "the wheels all of the wheels have fallen off" and even then they will put a bandaid on it. I'm in the market for a new place and I happened to stumble across Emerson 1600, loved the layout and the pictures but I was more impressed by the customer service of Tracey, she is the absolute best. She is very helpful and goes above and beyond for her residents... I can't appreciate her enough for her help and everything she did for me.... I look forward to calling Emerson 1600 my new home thanks to Tracey, I would definitely recommend..... 10 out of 10
