The Elmstead

We toured The Elmstead while looking for an apartment for my mom as she gets ready to sell her house, and we loved it. The amenities are great, and Michaela, the property manager, was so kind and helpful throughout the tour. She answered all of our questions, and we even met a few residents who had nothing but positive things to say about the community, especially how great Mark, and the maintenance team is. It feels really reassuring knowing my mom will be comfortable during this transition. We’ll be applying and are excited for The Elmstead to become her new home. I am very happy with the management of Corcoran and with the staff we have here at the Elmstead. Michaela has been very helpful and gracious as the onsite property manager and is very professional. I believe she relates well to this aging population. I also really appreicate Mark who takes care of the building. Like Michaela hs is extremely helpful and a hard worker. He goes out of his way to ensure that repairs happen quickly and he too is very approachable. Personally, I am very happy here and am grateful for our competent and caring staff.

Interested in The Elmstead? Here's my experience. It is clean, safe, peaceful, and the location is close to everything I need. The neighbors are great & some even plan different activities. There's a good mix of privacy and social. Michaela, the property manager is professional, welcoming, and helpful. Mark, the manager of maintenance, is excellent, responds quickly, and gets the problem resolved in a timely manner. Both Micheala and Mark make living here more pleasant and comfortable. The cleaning people are also very good (common areas, trash etc). I highly recommend The Elmstead.

My Mom moved here when she downsized from her house. We found the location to be so convenient to everything. She had a lovely first floor apartment where she was able to park right in front of her back door. The big windows in the living room let in plenty of light. Her one bedroom apartment was spacious, with ample closet space and a large bathroom. The building always looks so nice and clean inside and out. The community there was so kind and she always felt safe. Michaela in the management office is lovely, she is professional, efficient and eager to assist. The maintenance staff was also responsive. I was very happy with her choice to move into the Elmstead community

I moved to the Elmstead a little over a year ago. I have been very happy here and my experience has been positive. The grounds and the building are well maintained.If a service request is made, Mark addresses the issue promptly. The office is managed by Michaela. She has always been helpful and accommodating if I needed anything. I would recommend the Elmstead if you’re thinking of a 55+ apartment.
